A Scenic Spot with Stunning Views

While the beach itself may be modest in size, Shirahama Coast offers more than just its sandy shore. While the sea may not be ideal for extensive swimming due to the large rocks, it is still a peaceful place for a dip, and many visitors enjoy the calm atmosphere as they relax by the shore. The gentle waves and clear waters make it a lovely place to unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of Yagishiri Island.

Team Nicerio visits Shirahama Coast

On June 25, 2023, during our Father and Daughter Road Trip 4, my daughter and I, along with the Tomamae Gang, took a refreshing break at Shirahama Coast while biking around Yagishiri Island. We paused to admire the stunning views of the island's southern coast and spent some time skipping stones along the shore. It was my 601st day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. It was a day filled with laughter, adventure, and unforgettable memories!
