Originally a take-out-only shop, it has expanded over the years to become the spacious and lively eatery it is today. The name “Lucky Pierrot” was inspired by Chairman Ou Ichiro's fondness for circuses, and this theme is evident in the store’s design. You’ll find swing seats and merry-go-round horse ornaments, creating a fun and whimsical atmosphere, especially loved by children. Whether you're visiting for the first time or returning for a repeat visit, the nostalgic charm of the Bay Area Main Shop offers an experience you won’t forget.

Upon arriving, I was immediately struck by the unique and eye-catching façade and interior design of the store. I later learned that each Lucky Pierrot location features a different theme, adding to the charm and individuality of each branch. The store even has a special stamp to commemorate its one-of-a-kind theme, making it a fun stop for collectors.
During our visit, we tried the famous Chinese Chicken Burger, and it certainly lived up to its reputation. The burger was incredibly delicious, and now I’m eager to visit all 16 other branches in the future to experience their different themes and enjoy more of their tasty offerings.

From Hakodate Station, walk for approximately 3 minutes to the Hakodate Asaichi-mae bus stop. There, take Bus No. 3 on the Hakodate Sta.-mae Route operated by Hakobus Company.
Get off at the Nishi Hatoba & Hakodate Beer Hall-mae bus stop, then walk about 150 meters to reach Lucky Pierrot Bay Area Main Shop.
Travel time: 12 minutes
