Later, my wife and I ran some errands. We went to the Engan Bus Ticketing Office to get the Moekko Free Tickets for my work travels. But mistakenly, we went to Rumoi City Hall to submit paperwork to apply for Mother and Child Allowance from the local government.

We were redirected to a government office called Heartful in Igarashicho near our place. We brought our carpet to Jabba Rumoi Laundromat first before going to Heartful, which was a few blocks away, completed the application form beforehand, and were in and out of the office within a few minutes, as the staff was very helpful and processing was easy.

Feeling famished, we decided to eat an early dinner at the nearby Yamaokaya Ramen. The special miso ramen was huge, so my wife and I shared an order. It was delicious. We picked up our carpet from the laundromat before heading back home, just a few minutes before the Amazon delivery arrived.
Before calling it a day, my family and I committed to dedicating an hour each night to studying Japanese together. Our ultimate goal is to take the JLPT exam next year, equipped with the language as a family. Overall, today was a tiring but productive free day.

Ella wanted to head out so we allowed her to bike at the parking area of our apartment |
In the afternoon, we dedicated some time to studying Japanese. We've been trying to learn the language together and progressing slowly. It's a challenging language, but we're determined to master it. After that, I watched Ella biking around our apartment's parking area. As the day drew to a close, we decided to relax and unwind by binge-watching several episodes of the second season of Sweet Tooth. It's a captivating show we've been eagerly anticipating, and it did not disappoint.
Overall, it's been a fulfilling and enjoyable day, and I'm looking forward to what the rest of Golden Week has in store.
