Monday – Rumoi

It's another Monday! It only means it's back to work day. Today's forecast predicted rain all day, so I decided not to bike to school to avoid getting soaked. Luckily, I live just a five-minute walk away from Rumoi High School.

After classes, I had the English Club. We did the modified "Getting to Know You UNO game". It was a fun way to learn more about the old and new members of the English Club.

Tuesday – Rumoi

The weather was perfect for my usual Tuesday trip to Rumoi High School. I was thrilled that I could finally ride my bike to work. I have been looking forward to this after several months of winter.

| 大歓迎会 (Welcome party) at Koya on the 27th |
After class, one of my workmates in the 1st year level invited me to the 大歓迎会 (big welcome party). He handed me a piece of paper containing the place where the event would be held.
According to the weather forecast, it would be rainy the whole day. Unlike in the Philippines, where rain is a big deal, here it’s a normal occurrence, and rarely do schools close because of it. Today, I’m heading to Teshio High School. It’s my first visit this School Year, 2023 – 2024. For this trip, I used my 1-day Moekko Free Ticket.

When I got to school, Miyakoshi-sensei introduced me to the new Koucho-sensei and Kyoto-sensei. We then briefly talked about the activities that I prepared for our classes today.

It’s a sunny but ironically cold, windy day today. Thankfully, it’s not rainy like yesterday, but still, I had to layer up as it is really cold. For today’s school visit, I’m heading to Embetsu Agricultural High School. It’s my 3rd visit for the School Year 2023 – 2024. For this trip, I used my 2-day Moekko Free Ticket.

After work, I headed to Koya (肴や) located at 3 Chome-6-5 Kaiuncho in Rumoi City for the 大歓迎会 (big welcome party). It was a fun night hanging out with my co-workers and getting to know them more, especially the new ones.

Friday – Tomamae

It’s a cloudy Friday. It also drizzled a bit after I left home, but stopped when I got to the Motokawacho bus stop. For today’s trip, I’m visiting Tomamae Commercial High School. It’s my 2nd visit for the School Year 2023 – 2023. For this trip, I used my 2-day Moekko Free Ticket.
