Since the school is in the midst of celebrating its Sports Festival, there was no collaboration work on my plate. Instead, we all relished in the joy of a delightful day outdoors, both on the open field and inside the gymnasium.

Once work was done, my family and I made our way to Jabba Laundromat to ensure our clothes remained fresh and dry. The persistent cloudiness over the past few days has made it hard to dry our clothes. We had no choice but to have them machine dried, especially with the weather set to remain the same until the weekend.

Today brought a sense of anxiety as the speech contest is today. However, my nerves were eased when Sengoku-sensei provided me with an update regarding the contest. Although we didn’t get to the top 3, I’m happy to learn that Kanon-san has received a special award.

In summary, this week was marked by visits to Rumoi High School, Haboro High School, Embetsu Agricultural High School, and Tomamae Commercial High School. It proved to be an incredibly hectic week as I dedicated myself to training my contestants. Nevertheless, the highlight was learning that one of them received a special award. This achievement serves as a source of motivation for us to continue our efforts into the next year with the hope of securing a victory.
