It's an engaging and educational stop for anyone interested in learning more about the area.

Akancho Onsen Area

8. Go on a relaxing onsen tour in the Akancho Onsen Area (阿寒町阿寒湖温泉), one of Kushiro’s most popular hot spring destinations. This lakeside area is home to numerous hotels with soothing indoor and outdoor baths. For a quick and free experience, try the ashiyu (foot baths) scattered around the area—perfect for unwinding while enjoying the serene surroundings.
