Unique Attractions
One of the park’s most intriguing features is its art
installations. Visitors will notice several pedestal-mounted sculptures that
resemble eggs or, to some, horsetail plants, sparking curiosity and
conversation. Adding to the Pocket Park's charm is a distinctive tower equipped with a
clock, thermometer, and a gentle stream of running water leading to the
fountain. This tower not only serves a practical purpose but also enhances the
park's whimsical atmosphere.
Team Nicerio visits Pocket Park
On September 16, 2023, during the first day of our "3-Day Respect for the Aged Road Trip," my family and I made an unplanned stop at Pocket Park. This marked my 684th day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme.
While the park wasn’t initially part of our itinerary, its intriguing art installations caught our attention as we explored the town, prompting us to take a closer look. We also couldn’t resist playing in the park’s water fountain—a moment that brought out the inner child in me and added a playful touch to our visit.
Pocket Park Admission Fee
It’s FREE to enter and explore the Pocket Park. There is a
small parking lot near the park, but I think it is owned by Hair Salon Ari Fuji.
Pocket Park Operating Hours
Pocket Park is open 24/7.
