My daughter and I visited Nakatombetsu Town Local History
Museum on July 17, 2023, which was the final day of our Father and Daughter Road Trip #5, marking my
623rd day in Japan as an ALT with the JET Programme. When we arrived at the
museum, we were 10 minutes early for its opening, but the friendly staff was
kind enough to entertain us while waiting for the opening time. Since we were
the only visitors, she even showed us around the museum and tried her best to
explain the importance of each exhibit.
My daughter and I learned a lot about
Nakatombetsu thanks to her. She even gave us recommendations of where to visit
in Nakatombetsu next time. She highly recommended the Nakatombetsu Limestone
Nature Park bus sadly, it rained hard right when we were about to leave.
Hopefully, we get to visit it in the future.
