Team Nicerio visits Goryokaku Tower
My family and I visited Goryokaku Tower last April 2, 2023, during the 2nd day of our 3-day Birthday Road Trip. It was my 517th day here in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. This was the first destination that we visited in Hakodate City. We visited during late winter, so we weren’t able to see the Sakura blossoms that famously cover the area, particularly the star-shaped Goryokaku below. We would come back here next year and experience Hanami in this beautiful place.
