Whether you prefer soaking in the hot waters of Ki no Yu or Yama no Yu, there's something to suit everyone's mood and preference. Team Nicerio visits Maruseppu Onsen Yamabiko

My family and I got to take a dip at the onsen of Maruseppu Onsen Yamabiko during the first day of our 3-day Respect for the Aged Holiday road trip last September 17 – 19, 2022. It was my 320th day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. I included Maruseppu Onsen Yamabiko in our itinerary as we were camping at Maruseppu Ikoinomori Camping Ground. What we like about the onsen is that it was well maintained and the rest area is spacious. I could snooze there for a bit while waiting for my family to finish bathing.

We would surely come back here if you would go on another road trip to the eastern side of Hokkaido.
