Team Nicerio at Sato Auto Campground of Firefly

My family and I camped at Sato Auto Campground of Firefly from the night of September 9 to the morning of September 10, 2022, as part of our September 9-11 Road Trip. It was my 312th and 313th day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. Sato Auto Campground of Firefly was our jump-off point for our southeastward trip to the Sorachi Subprefecture. Our stay was quite memorable as we were one of the three campers who stayed there. Since we pitched our tent near the Horoshintachibetsu River, we enjoyed the relaxing sound of its flowing water. Overall, the place is quite pricey for overnight camping but then again if you are coming to see the fireflies it’s worth it.
