Nanohana Soft Cream

We tried the Nanohana Soft Cream from Takikawa Roadside Station.

Inside the building, you can find a restaurant run by the Takikawa Regional Wholesale Market that serves a wide range of dishes made with regional ingredients like Takikawa rice, an ice cream stand with a wide selection of locally made soft serve ice cream, and a farmer. It is a place where you can completely appreciate regional foodstuffs, including a farmer's market where fresh agricultural items are arranged by Kizuna no Kai and a shop corner with prepared foods from the neighborhood and neighboring cities.

My family and I visited Takikawa Roadside Station for the first time during our weekend road trip last August 27, 2022, which was my 43rd weekend here in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. We didn’t stay long during our visit but my daughter and I managed to get the Takikawa Roadside Station stamp for our Hokkaido Stamp Rally stamp collection.
