Otaru Asari Classe Hotel is a fine hotel located in the ski resort area of Otaru. This hotel is 5 km from Asari train station and 9 km from downtown Otaru. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. The Asari River flows nearby and can be explored on foot. While behind the hotel is a lush green forest that is home to several species of birds and insects which sometimes creates a beautiful melody at night and in the early mornings.

As for the food, Otaru Asari Classe Hotel has three restaurants. The breakfast buffet features Japanese and Western dishes. Dining options include an upscale Chinese/French eatery and an upscale restaurant serving seasonal fare.

Other amenities are an onsen with hot spring water, an indoor pool with a hot tub, and a fitness center with a tennis court. Speaking of the onsen, it has a spacious indoor and outdoor bath. The onsen can be enjoyed in all seasons, such as forest bathing in the green season, autumn leaves in the fall, and snow-viewing open-air baths in the winter.

My family and I stayed in Otaru Asari Classe Hotel last August 20, 2022, during the 2nd day of our "From Osaka with Love" Road Trip with our Japanese family. It’s also my 292nd day here in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. We had a nice experience staying at the hotel. My daughter enjoyed swimming in the pool and of course, we were contented with our dinner and buffet breakfast. Given the chance, we would surely stay here again in the future.

Why stay in Otaru Asari Classe Hotel?

If you visit in winter, this hotel is near the Asarigawa Onsen Ski Resort and Sapporo Kokusai Ski Resort. If you visit in summer or during the hiking season, then this hotel is a few kilometers away from the Asari Tengudake Mountain. It is also a few kilometers away from the city center of Otaru.

It takes around 90 minutes from New Chitose Airport to Otaru Station via the JR Rapid Airport train.

Sapporo

It is approximately 32 minutes from Sapporo Station to Otaru Station.

Once you reach Otaru Station, there is a free shuttle bus service from Otaru Station, or you may use the local bus.
