Yusui Park Urara - Hokkaido

Yusui Park Urara (遊水公園うらら) is a large park in the northwestern portion of town specifically created to promote play to children. It is located at 5189 Moseushi in Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan.

With the present issue of dwindling population in the town and throughout Hokkaido, the town of Moseushi came up with the concept of building a family-friendly space in town where families may bring their children in a safe and enjoyable environment.

Yusui Park Urara (遊水公園うらら)

Yusui Park Urara was improved and reopened to the public in early 2022. It has a Tarzan rope, electric vehicle, swing, double slider, and wall climbing, to mention a few pieces of playground equipment. These turned out to be a big hit with the little children.

Aside from that, Yusui Park Urara includes a range of amenities for older family members, such as a 3-on-3 basketball court and a park golf course. These, however, need reservations and have rental costs.

Yusui Park Urara's 16m-long waterslide


The highlight of Yusui Park Urara is its free-to-play 16m-long waterslide. Children can use it from July to August. It’s open to the public from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.






My family and I visited Yusui Park Urara last August 6, 2022, which was my 278th day here in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. My daughter Ella really enjoyed the different amenities of Yusui Park Urara. She said that she would surely want to come back again someday.

What I like about Yusui Park Urara is that it is only a few meters away from Moseushi Onsen Peperu so no matter how sweaty we got, we had a chance to freshen up and relax in its onsen.

It’s FREE to visit and explore the park grounds. Most of its facilities and playground equipment are also FREE except the following.

Electric car – 100 yen for a few minutes

Park Gold Course – 300 yen 1-day ticket for adults / 100 yen for a 1-day ticket for elementary and junior high school students. Equipment rental is 100 yen.

Yusui Park Urara Operating Hours

Although the grounds of Yusui Park Urara are open 24 hours a day, the amenities are only available from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The time of operation may also be affected by the season. For updates, please call the park authorities at 0164-32-2063.

Why visit Yusui Park Urara?

If you are visiting Moseushi, Yusui Park Urara is probably the best area to bring your children. Your youngsters will undoubtedly appreciate the park's many outdoor attractions as you enjoy the town's fresh air.

Getting to Yusui Park Urara


From Asahikawa JR Station, ride the Hakodate Line and board down at Moseushi JR Station. From there, walk northwards toward Moseushi Town Hall for about 17 minutes. Yusui  Park Urara is a few meters away from the town hall.

Located in Barangay San Pedro in Sto. Tomas in the province of Batangas, the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio is a pilgrimage site dedicated and inspired by Saint Padre Pio.
