Pokemon Store New Chitose Airport - Hokkaido

Pokemon Store New Chitose Airport (ポケモンストア 新千歳空港店), located on the second floor of the New Chitose Airport Domestic Terminal Building in 987 Bibi, Chitose City, Hokkaido Prefecture, is one of Japan's seven Pokemon Stores.

The idea behind a "Pokemon Store" is similar to the Poke Mart in your favorite Pokemon games. However, unlike in the games, the Poke Stores don't sell potions and different kinds of heals but they do have a plethora of Poke Dolls (plush toys) and Pokeballs with toys to choose from.

As mentioned, the Pokemon Store New Chitose Airport is one of the 7 Pokemon Stores in Japan. As a matter of fact, it's the only one of its kind in Hokkaido Prefecture. Although there is a much larger Pokemon Center in Sapporo in, you guessed that right, Sapporo City.

I visited the Pokemon Store New Chitose Airport last April 16, 2022, which was my 166th day here in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. I already went to the store last January 7, 2022, before my flight to Kansai International Airport but was saddened to discover that it was closed to the public due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During my visit last April 2022, I bought the store-exclusive Cabin Attendant Pikachu to give as a welcome gift to my daughter when she arrives in Hokkaido.

Overall, had I been addicted to Pokemon like how I was 15 years ago, I would have bought other souvenirs in the store. Regardless, I was happy to see that even if I retired as a Pokefan, there is a new generation that would take over including my daughter. Hence, I'm looking forward to visiting the other Pokemon Stores and Pokemon Centers around Japan.

It's FREE to enter and explore the Pokemon Store New Chitose Airport. However, I highly suggest that you bring money to buy your favorite Pokemon plushie or merchandise.

Our adventure today takes us to a mountain south of Metro Manila. Mt. Gulugod Baboy  (other variations Mt. Gulugod-Baboy ) is located in Anilao, Mabini in the province of Batangas. Calaca Church - Batangas

Located at the poblacion of Calaca in the province of Batangas, Calaca Church is one of the Spanish colonial era churches of the province. Calaca Church -  St. Raphael the Archangel Parish Church Calaca Church History Also known as St. Raphael the Archangel Parish Church , Calaca Church was said to be founded in 1836 which was a year after the establishment of the town of Calaca. The church was built from the collective sacrifices and efforts of the townspeople of the town.
