Heritage Resort of Caoayan - Ilocos Sur

Image
Located at Anonang Mayor corner Don Lorenzo Quirubin in the town of Caoayan, Ilocos Sur, Heritage Resort of Caoayan is a five-hectare family resort that is perfectly located a few kilometers away from the historical city of Vigan . Heritage Resort of Caoayan Heritage Resort of Caoayan Details Heritage Resort of Caoayan offers visitors budget-friendly accommodations and its geographical closeness to Vigan City . Aside from that, visitors with time to spare can also take a dip in its pools or just relax in its farm-like atmosphere. What I like about the resort is its large rooms. Apart from being wallet-friendly, it could also fit a family of 10 (given that four of them are children). Speaking of large space, the resort also has a large parking space suited for those family road trip convoys. In connection to that, it is also good to know that the resort also has a large pavilion that can be used for weddings, debuts, or birthdays.  Heritage Resort of Caoayan - Caoayan, Ilocos Sur

Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary - Quezon

Image
Located in the town of Agdangan in Quezon province, the Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary is a Catholic tower and sanctuary built beside the town's parish church. Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary History Standing 120 feet tall, the Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary is the brainchild of Fr. Raul "Puti" Enriquez. The inspiration to build a sanctuary in Agdangan came to him sometime in 2003 during the time when  jueteng  (a local type of gambling)   and excessive drinking plagued the small coastal town.  Luminous Cross of Grace Sanctuary - Agdangan, Quezon The sanctuary is just beside St. Isidore Parish Church Reminds me of Seattle Space Needle Collective visions and dreams of several people about the sanctuary brought together important people who played a big role in the movement to build the sanctuary in 2004. Construction took a few years and was finished in 2007. According to our guide Ms. Yam Maglaqui , the sanctuar

Anawangin Cove - Zambales

Image
Located several kilometers away from the town proper of Pundaquit, San Antonio in the province of Zambales, Anawangin Cove is one  (if not the most) of the tourist destinations of the province. Anawangin Cove Anawangin Cove Details Anawangin Cove  is known for its out-of-this-country like feels. Visitors of this cove would surely be awed with the unusual view of the forest of pine trees serving as the backdrop to the fine secluded beach instead of the typical coconut. The cove also has a river that adds drama to its already picturesque pine forest. The best part of it all is that this cove has little man-made structures. Anawangin Cove - San Antonio, Zambales Heading to Anawangin Cove by boat Gotta love the view here in Anawangin Cove . The place has numerous huts to rent if you don't want to get burnt by the sun Well... that was my impression when I first visited Anawangin Cove way back in 2007. Sadly, some things do change negatively... Typhoon Emong and Pep

Ifugao - Mt. Province - Benguet 2017 Tour

Image
Long before the advent of social media, going to the inner municipalities of Ifugao, Mt. Province, and Benguet requires extensive research, patience, and luck. Today, one can easily visit these places simply by availing tour packages offered by different travel companies online.  Ifugao - Mt. Province - Benguet 2017 Tour My wife and I took this opportunity to avail of the  Sagada Tour Package of Travel Galore . For us, this tour package is a total blessing. Just to share... half a decade ago, we planned a do-it-yourself trip to Sagada . However, natural calamities like typhoons and landslides combined with personal reasons like our marriage and having a baby had put the said plan in the " pray-it-will-push-thru " bin.  Check out our stops in the map below: What we find great about the tour package was the fact that despite being called a Sagada Tour Package , it is actually a tri-provincial tour. It is more of an Ifugao - Mt. Province - Benguet Tour  with just an
