Team Nicerio visits Naumann Park

My family and I visited Naumann Park for the first time on November 4, 2023, the second day of our three-day Culture Day Road Trip. This also marked my 733rd day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. As part of our Hokkaido 179 travel goals, we made sure to include the roadside station in our itinerary. The Churui Roadside Station was conveniently located inside the Naumann Park, which allowed us to visit and explore both destinations. My daughter and I enjoyed taking photos with the Mother and calf Naumann Elephant Statues. 

Naumann Park Admission Fee

Entry to Naumann Park is FREE, allowing visitors to explore and enjoy the grounds at no cost. However, some facilities, including the campground, museum, and park golf course, require separate admission fees.

Naumann Park Operating Hours

Naumann Park is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. However, individual facilities within the park have their own operating hours, so please check them separately before visiting.

Getting to Naumann Park

 

From Obihiro Station, head to platform 11 of the Obihiro Station Bus Terminal and board bus #60 Hiroo Line operated by the Tokichi Bus Company. Board down at Naumanzo kinenkan mae bus stop. 

From there, walk for about 210 meters to the roadside station.
