My family and I visited Kamiyubetsu Roadside Station for the first time last September 18, 2022, during our September 17 – 19 Road Trip. It was my 321st day in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. My daughter and I didn’t miss the opportunity to visit the roadside station as we collected roadside station stamps for our Hokkaido Stamp Rally. Sadly, because we were in a rush, we weren’t able to take a dip at its famed onsen. Well, that only means that we have a reason to revisit Kamiyubetsu Roadside Station someday.

Kamiyubetsu Roadside Station Fees

It’s FREE to park, enter, and explore Kamiyubetsu Roadside Station. However, visitors need to pay 550 yen to use its bathing facility. Also, I highly recommend that you bring cash, in case you want to buy some souvenirs to bring back home.
