Niseko (ニセコ町) is a town situated in the Shiribeshi Subprefecture of Hokkaido, Japan. The town's name originates from the Nisekoanbetsu River (ニセコアンベツ川), which means "river toward the cliff" in the Ainu language.

1. Take a picture of the manhole cover of Niseko. So far, I have seen 1 unique manhole cover in the town. It is a bit uncommon. This is installed near Niseko Town Hall.

2. Visit the Niseko Kaributo Shrine (ニセコ狩太神社), the main shrine of Niseko. You can visit at any time of day to offer your prayers and pay your respects. If you're collecting goshuin (shrine stamps), be sure to get one from this sacred site.

3. Check out the preserved SL 9643 at the Niseko Railway Museum / Niseko Railway Heritage Site (ニセコ鉄道遺産群). Although there’s nothing much to do here, there are several spots to take photos of like the Niseko Chuo Soukogun (Niseko Central Warehouses) and the Niseko Bridge.
