A Letter to 2017
A Letter to 2017 |
Thank you for the 365 days that we've shared together. It was really a memorable one. However, just so you know, you've left me with mixed emotions as there was plenty of happiness brought by achievements of my blog The Backpack Adventures but there was also deep grief brought by the passing of several loved ones.
Let's look back at those achievements and see what milestones we've crossed and achieved this year.
1.This year, there were 84 published articles. That's 14 more than that of 2016.
2. I have reached my first 1 million views.
3. Several articles and photographs were published in several magazines.
4. For the first time in my life, I was interviewed in a radio program regarding travel tips.
5. I got to travel to 2 new countries and several new destinations in the Philippines this year.
Speaking of travels, here are the highlights of my travels for each month last year:

Sadly, this year was not all travel and fun as we have lost three members of our family.
Dear 2017, since you will be left behind and I will move forward to a new chapter of my life, kindly pass along my heartfelt message to my loved ones whose physical existence will also be left behind with you. Kindly tell them that they are loved and their memories will forever be with us. Thank you so much 2017.
This article is dedicated to you and to those that we lost this 2017. We love you and we will miss you.
