I got to visit Rinku Park last January 8, 2022, during my 10th weekend in Japan as an ALT under the JET Programme. During this trip, I accompanied my Japanese family on their afternoon walk in the park. The park was vast and there were numerous scenic spots in it.

Yomo, enjoying his trip to Rinku Park

During our visit, we parked at the parking lot near Kanku Ice. We let Karin and the family dog Yomo run around exploring the park. We followed a pathway that took us under the Sky Gate Bridge that led us to Rinku Park

We continued following the park until we reached the Four Seasons Fountain. It was a perfect place to run around and then relax after. Aside from the Four Seasons Fountain. The LOVE RINKU can also be found here.

Where to next?

When Karin and Yomo got tired of running, we decided to walk back to the car to leave. However, instead of retracing our way back, we followed the route down to Utsumi and then up Taiko Bridge. From there, we just crossed the overpass a walked several meters back to the parking area.

Thank you Kameyama Family for the awesome time

When we got home, I googled what I missed from not visiting the seaside garden area and was shocked to discover that it was a place that my family and I have already visited on the 19th day of our Japan 2018 trip. Its main attraction was none other than Sennan Marble Beach
