2017 Singapore - Malaysia Tour

Traveling is one of the best ways to create memories with your family. That's why my wife and I would always make sure that we have at least one trip annually. For this year, we went on a 7-day Singapore-Malaysia Tourlast 2017. 

Here's our itinerary: Day 0 (April 26)Our 8:20PM flight aboard Cebu Pacific 5J803 brought us from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 to Changi International Airport in Singapore. We arrived at around 11:55PM and we spent our first night in the country sleeping in the airport.

Day 1 (April 27)We left the airport early going to our "home" for 3 days at Hougang Street 91 #02 Unit 312. We were planning to visit the museums and old temples after a quick rest but it rained heavily that whole day so we went on a food trip at a nearby mall instead. It is where we got our first taste of local dishes like laksa andice kachang.

Petronas Twin Towers - Malaysia

Located in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Petronas Twin Towers is the tallest building in Malaysia. It is also the most famous landmark of Kuala Lumpur. 

Petronas Twin Towers HistoryAlso known as the Menara Berkembar Petronas or simply Petronas Towers, these twin skyscrapers once were the tallest structures in the world. It held on to this title from 1998 until 2004 when Taiwan 101 was completed. 

The Petronas Twin Towers were designed by Cesar Pelli, an Argentine architect. He chose a post-modern design style that underwent and passed rigorous tests and simulations of wind and structural loads. 

Now here goes the history of the Petronas Twin Towers and its love for the number 1... Excavation for its 98-feet deep base started on March 1, 1993. The construction of the mega structures then started on April 1, 1994. Its interiors were completed on January 1, 1996, while the spires of Tower 1 and 2 were completed on March 1, 1996.
