Week 30: May 23 -27, 2022 Day 203: May 23, 2022 Monday - Rumoi Rumoi High School 5/23/22 Good morning everyone! It's the start of another week. It's my 30th week here in Japan to be exact. Today, I'll be working at Rumoi High School . Here's my workload for today: 5th period - Intensive Reading @ 3-3456 of Matsuda-sensei 6th period - Past Tense @ 1-1 of Motoyama-sensei During one of my free time, Matsuda-sensei talked to me about how to apply for a Japanese driver's license. Aside from that, I also made listening tests for Matsuda-sensei and Sengoku -sensei's classes.  Overall, my first day of the week was tiring but fulfilling.  Day 204: May 24, 2022 Tuesday - Rumoi Rumoi High School 5/24/22 It's another day at Rumoi High School . It's drizzling so I was not able to bike to school today. Ogonmisaki Seaside Park ( Spring ) Ogonmisaki Seaside Park details SPRING   It was not long ago when I visited Ogonmisaki Seaside Park   ( 黄金岬海浜公園 ).  The last time I saw was during my bike trip around Rumoi City last November 3, 2021 , which was the Cu ltural Day holiday here in Japan . Umi no Furusatokan  ( 留萌市海のふるさと館 ) is a community center and museum rolled into one. It is l ocated at 2 Chome Omachi, Rumoi City in Hokkaido Prefecture,   Japan .  Umi no Furusatokan Umi no Furusatokan details   The name Umi no Furusatokan is literally translated as Sea's Community Hall a better translation would be Community Hall by the Sea . True to its name Umi no Furusatokan is a place for the people. Opened in 1989 (Heisei 1), this community center has been the venue for countless important events. It stands on what was once known as Mt. Hiyori where it faces Cape Ogon and the vast Sea of Japan.
