Top 10 Things to Do in Quezon

The province of Quezon's location which is only 3-4 hours away southeast of Manila, makes it an ideal place for a weekend getaway. The province offers plenty of things to do, eat, and see that is perfect for those looking for an adventure.

If it's your first time visiting the province, here's my Top 10 Things to Do in Quezon:

1. Go on a pilgrimage to Kamay ni Hesus in Lucban.

2. Go food tripping and try out Quezon's numerous delicacies.

3. Go on a Visita Iglesia to the numerous Spanish colonial era churches of Quezon.

4. Learn how to surf in the PaRK in the town of Real.

5. Have a quick stopover and take a selfie with Atimonan's Sirena.

6. Check out the old houses in Sariaya

7. Hike Mt. Mirador aka Pinagbanderahan and check out its caves as a side trip. 


8. Drive through the famous Zigzag Road aka Eme Road in Pagbilao and Atimonan.

Munting Buhangin Beach Camp - Batangas

Located in the municipality of Nasugbu in the province of Batangas, Munting Buhangin Beach Camp is one of the few privately owned resorts in the area that doesn't really require memberships for visitors to enjoy. Its light brown sand, sprinkled with different kinds of shells, is cleaned daily by the dedicated staff of the resort. Located in the town of Paoay in Ilocos Norte, Paoay Sand Dunes is actually part of the wide Ilocos Sand Dunes which encompasses several towns of the province. Juan and Antonio Luna Museum - Ilocos Norte

Located in Barangay Garreta in the town of Badoc in Ilocos Norte, Juan and Antonio Luna Museum is the two-story ancestral home of the Luna clan which presently serves as a museum for the Luna brothers. Juan and Antonio Luna Museum Juan and Antonio Luna Museum History: Built sometime in the early 19th century, the ancestral house of the Lunas is a typical  Bahay na Tisa  which was common particularly to the middle and upper-class society during the Spanish colonial period. Sadly, the original structure was damaged by fire in 1861. The house was then ceded to the government in 1954. The Department of Public Works and Highways and the National Historical Institute completed its restoration in 1977. The house then became a museum for the Luna brothers.
