    I really love visitig Osaka. When I was there, I feel I was a teenager. I enjoyed it so much. The foods are delicious and the places too.

Day 488: March 4, 2023 Saturday – Rumoi x Mashike We woke up early today so that we could prepare for our dental appointment at Ebata Dental Clinic in Rumoi City. Although our appointment was still at 10 AM and the dental clinic was also in the city, we still left home at around 9 AM so that we would have plenty of time to move around in case something came up. Ebata Dental Clinic The dental clinic has a play area/ mini library for kids It also has cute decorations The dentist, Ebata-sensei , was a very friendly guy. He can speak some English which made the dental visit a walk in the park. My daughter had some cleaning while my wife and I had some teeth fillings. Day 489: March 5, 2023 Sunday – Takikawa x Asahikawa Driving through the Numata - Rumoi Expressway It's another beautiful winter morning here in Rumoi City, and the day feels perfect for an outing. Connecting the island of Awaji and Kobe City which are both in Hyogo Prefecture, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge  ( 明石海峡大橋 )  is the longest bridge in Japan to date.  Akashi Kaikyo Bridge History Prior to the construction of the  Akashi Kaikyo Bridge , ferries carried passengers across the Akashi Strait. However, the strait is known to be a dangerous waterway that already took countless lives. The most famous of which was in 1955 when two ferries sank in the strait during a storm. This tragedy claimed 168 lives and was said to be what convinced the Japanese government to develop plans to construct a bridge.
