Nagaland Hotel - Camarines Sur

Nagaland Hotel is a very "strategic" hotel fit for those who want to stay near Naga City's famous landmarks. It is located on Elias Angeles Street in the heart of Naga City in the province of Camarines Sur, Philippines.

Speaking of being a "strategic" location, the hotel is just a few blocks away from Plaza Barlin, Plaza Quince Martires, San Francisco Church, and Naga Metropolitan Cathedral. It is also a tricycle or jeepney ride away from Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Penafrancia and Shrine of Our Lady of Penafrancia.

Aside from being near Naga's famous landmarks, the hotel is also just across a mall, a famous Filipino fast-food restaurant, and several drug stores.

I stayed in Nagaland Hotel with my family during our CamSur - Albay Road Trip last 2014. What I like most about the hotel aside from its good location is its price. Even if Nagaland Hotel is a budget hotel, you won't feel cheated by the price that you're paying.

The rooms of Nagaland Hotel are spacious, clean, and cold (it depends on how low the thermostat of the AC is) The bathroom is also clean plus it has complimentary soaps and shampoos (w/c I brought home as souvenirs). Each room is fitted with television, and air conditioning systems and has a free WIFI connection (the most important of them all). Last but not least, the hotel staff are very accommodating. Despite our numerous requests, I never saw them frown or whatever.

If we have the opportunity to embark on another road trip to Southern Luzon, specifically Camarines Sur, there's no doubt that I would choose to stay at the Nagaland Hotel.

Nagaland Hotel is a place to stay if you are in Naga City. It offers affordable accommodation. Aside from that, the hotel is conveniently located near the main landmarks of Naga City.

Getting to Nagaland Hotel:


From Manila, Cubao, Pasay, or Alabang ride a bus going to Naga City. You can also take the bus heading to Legazpi in Albay. Tell the conductor to drop you off at Naga City. From there, you can ride a tricycle to bring you to the Nagaland Hotel.
