I took advantage of the chance to go for an early morning walk like yesterday. I crossed  Akatsukibashi  this time to visit the  Ujinikaigan District . Week 61: December 26 -30, 2022 Day 420: December 26, 2022 Monday – Hiroshima Road Trip Day 2 Good morning from the Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima on Ujina Island Enjoying the view from our room Good morning everyone. I woke up early today to explore the area around Grand Prince Hotel Hiroshima . I watched the sunrise while strolling around Ujina Island . Motoujina Beach and Ujina Island Lighthouse Our hotel is located on the eastern side of Ujina Island ( 宇品島 ) . I followed the scenic walking path around the island but only went halfway around it. I got to see several info boards posted by the Earth Museum Motoujina Hiroshima along the way like the following: 花崗岩 (granite) 岩脈 (dike) 正断層 (a normal fault) 断層 (fault) 節理 (joint) 海食崖 (sea cliff) Earth Museum Motoujina Hiroshima I also got to see  Motoujina Beach  and the  Ujina Lighthouse .
