Week 84: June 5 – 9, 2023 Day 581: June 5, 2023 Monday – Rumoi Rumoi High School 6.5.23 It's a cold, cloudy morning, and the chill seeps through my window as I begin my 84th work week. Despite the dreary weather, my spirits remain high—I’m off to Rumoi High School today! Each visit there excites me, as it’s always a chance to connect with students, share stories, and hopefully make a difference. I’m looking forward to another meaningful day with them. Weekend 83: June 3 – 4, 2023 Day 579: June 3, 2023 Saturday – Rumoi Today was a rather eventful day here in  Rumoi City , and it's a bittersweet one for me. Not only is it a rainy day, but it's also my wife's last full day here before she flies to Osaka in preparation for the birth of our child. The rain seems to mirror the emotions swirling within me, a mix of anticipation and a tinge of sadness. Here's our car until Ruru is repaired We test-drove it going to the Engan Bus Office to buy this month's supply of Moekko Free Tickets The morning started at 10 AM when the insurance company delivered the rental car to our house. We had made arrangements for it to be brought over, and after a brief explanation of the rental terms, my family and I embarked on our day's errands.
