This morning, the sky was filled with clouds that signaled an impending rain. I checked the weather forecast, which confirmed that it would rain a bit and remain cloudy for the rest of the day. I was relieved to have made it to Rumoi High School unscathed before the rain came pouring down.

During class, I saw a poster inviting locals to tour the battleship Suou for free. Of course, it piqued my interest so I took a photo of the poster and also saved the date.

It’s a sunny morning here in Rumoi City. For today’s work, I’m traveling to Haboro High School in the town of Haboro. It is my 2nd visit for the School Year 2023 – 2024. For this trip, I will be using my 2-Day Moekko Skip Ticket.


Today, Watanabe-sensei is absent so Okumura-sensei and I are fully loaded. Here’s my workload for today:

When I returned home, my family and I decided to make a trip to MaxValu to purchase some groceries. During our shopping expedition, I stumbled upon the new Melon KitKat flavor and couldn't resist buying it.

Before heading home, we treated ourselves to a delicious dinner at Ramen Yamaokaya. However, I accidentally ordered a large bowl of super spicy miso ramen. Despite the fiery kick, I savored every mouthful, even though it led to some stomach discomfort throughout the night. Nevertheless, I have no regrets about indulging in that spicy culinary adventure.

It’s a cloudy morning. For today’s trip, I’m heading to Embetsu Agricultural High School for my usual Thursday visit to the school schedule. It’s my 5th visit for School Year 2023 – 2024. For this trip, I used my 1-day Moekko Free Ticket.

It’s a beautiful sunny day. I’m off to Tomamae Commercial High School today. It’s my 4th visit for the School Year 2023 – 2024. For this trip, I would be using my 2-day Skip Moekko Free Ticket.

Overall, this week was busy, tiring, but very productive. I visited schools in Rumoi, Haboro, Embetsu, and Tomamae. I’m looking forward to getting some rest and hopefully going on another road trip this weekend. See you guys!

Munting Buhangin Beach Camp - Batangas

Located in the municipality of Nasugbu in the province of Batangas, Munting Buhangin Beach Camp is one of the few privately owned resorts in the area that doesn't really require memberships for visitors to enjoy. Munting Buhangin Beach Camp Munting Buhangin Beach Camp Details Although Munting Buhangin Beach Camp doesn't have white sand to boast, it's quite an isolated place which makes the resort stand out. Its light brown sand, sprinkled with different kinds of shells, is cleaned daily by the dedicated staff of the resort. Sadly, during my visit, a broken piece of glass buried in the sand gave one of my toes a deep cut but I know that it's just a rare case (no one needs to be fired) and nobody wanted that to happen. Patungan Beach - Cavite

Located in Barangay Sta. Mercedes (Patungan) in Maragondon , Cavite, Patungan Beach is one of the province's little-known beach destinations. It is situated inside Patungang Cove which is south of Mt. Palay Palay which is also known as Pico de Loro . Patungan Beach Patungan Beach Details The area near Patungan Beach is home to about 100 - 200 families, most of which are fishermen hence the alternate name of the barangay - Patungan Fishing Village . According to the locals that I interviewed, their place was once an isolated  barangay , reachable only by boat, horse, or foot. Thankfully, with the completion of the  Nasugbu - Ternate Highway  and  Kaybiang Tunnel , the barangay was finally connected to the province. The last time I visited Daraga Church was during the 4th day of our CamSur - Albay Road Trip last 2014. Since that's almost a decade ago, I made sure to include it in our itinerary for the 8th day of our 2021 Bicol Road Trip .  Daraga Church Revisited 2021 Daraga Church details For those who are unfamiliar with Daraga Church , it is located in Santa Maria Street, Daraga in the province of Albay. Located in Barangay San Pedro in Sto. Tomas in the province of Batangas, the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio is a pilgrimage site dedicated and inspired by Saint Padre Pio.
