Published: Chasing Waterfalls

When I first created this blog a few years ago, I dreamt that one day some of my adventures would be published in some travel or lifestyle magazine. 

VIEW Travel and Lifestyle Magazine - Vol 6 No. 11

That dream was fulfilled when VIEW Travel and Lifestyle Magazine published my article Chasing Waterfalls in their November 2014 issue.

It's an unexplainable feeling getting published for the first time.

Chasing Waterfalls is about my Iligan City experience. It features some of the famous waterfalls of the city and also shares some of my experiences in the City of Majestic Waterfalls. You would also find out about the other natural and man-made attractions that the city has to offer.






Chasing Waterfalls is my first published article in my blogging career.

National Shrine of St. Padre Pio - Batangas

Located in Barangay San Pedro in Sto. Tomas in the province of Batangas, the National Shrine of St. Padre Pio is a pilgrimage site dedicated and inspired by Saint Padre Pio. National Shrine of St. Padre Pio National Shrine of St. Padre Pio History The shrine initially started out as a bamboo and nipa chapel back in 2003. Then on November 7, 2005, a 1.6-hectare agricultural land was donated to the Archdiocese of Lipa by a generous couple. A year later, another generous individual donated 200 square meters of land to provide the right of way to the site. This land would be the site of the new chapel and later on the Shrine of St. Padre Pio . Hiking Mt. Gulugod Baboy

Our adventure today takes us to a mountain south of Metro Manila. Mt. Gulugod Baboy  (other variations Mt. Gulugod-Baboy ) is located in Anilao, Mabini in the province of Batangas. Gulugod-baboy is a Filipino phrase that means "pig's spine." The mountain got its name from the contours of the peaks which resemble a pig's back as seen from Janao Bay. Mt. Gulugod Baboy Mt. Located on the outskirts of San Pablo City in the province of Laguna, Bato Springs is the perfect getaway near Manila on a hot summer day.  Bato Springs Bato Springs Details Prior to my visit, I have only seen the sign of Bato Springs Resort every time we head to southern Luzon. Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery - Laguna

Located in Barangay Bambang in the municipality of Nagcarlan in Laguna, Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery is a national historic landmark and museum of the town.
