Japan Diaries: Day 20
Day 20 January 7, 2015
Tokyo Disneyland Day 3 & Shibuya
![]() |
Back at Tokyo Disneyland
We spent the morning trying out attractions that we missed during our first visit. We also got the chance to retry some of the rides that we enjoyed. So here's what we did on our 3rd day:
Got to check out Tom Sawyer's Island
Feels like the Wild West...
...complete with a barrel bridge...
...and an old steamboat
Check out the waterfalls on that rock!
...and check out this wooden fort!
not to mention the nearby Indian tepees.
I got the chance to cross this bridge too!
What an adventure!
Before leaving Tokyo Disneyland, my wife and baby together with our Japanese family visited the nearby Starbucks branch and sipped our well-deserved coffee... not to mention I got to avail myself of one of my collections -the Tokyo City tumbler.
After half a day in Tokyo Disneyland, Mr. Toshi decided to bring us to my wife's most requested place in Japan - the Hachiko Statue. It is located near Shibuya Crossing which is another famous landmark in Tokyo Prefecture. (Finally, we got to go to Tokyo Prefecture!)
This is it!
Where could you be Hachiko?
There you are! Finally, Team Nicerio visits the Hachiko Statue
Got to cross Shibuya Crossing! Sleepy Ella...
From there, we rode the train to Haneda Airport for our flight back to Kansai International Airport. Overall, our final day in Chiba and Tokyo Prefecture brought us to a sad realization that our vacation in Japan is almost over.
Back to the plane bound for Osaka. Bye Tokyo!
