Tokyo DisneySea Day 2


Good morning Tokyo, I mean Chiba Prefecture! It looks like it's going to rain later in the afternoon according to the weather forecast (No!!!). Despite this not-so motivating news, our excitement level is still at 100%.

Today, by the way, is Day 2 of our Disney theme park adventure. Our destination today is Tokyo DisneySea. As far as I know, this is the first and only one of its kind among all the Disney theme parks around the world.
Looks sort of Universal-ish to me...

Whoa! Am I still in Japan?

During our stay in the theme park, I came to the conclusion that Tokyo DisneySea could be more appealing to adult tourists because of its more challenging rides. Aside from that the theme park also boasts lots of picturesque attractions and places that older visitors would surely appreciate more. (Well that's only my point of view other people could still contest that.)

I tried squeezing our schedule so that I could enjoy all the rides and of course take pictures all in one day. However, it proved impossible (even if we have the FastPass). Well, it just proves that you can't really have it all. 

Anyway here's how we spent our day in Tokyo DisneySea:

Rode an Arab ship to the Gulf

then transferred to an Oceanliner

before diving into Atlantis

...then suddenly found ourselves in Peru in search of the Crystal Skull...


...but was captured and was about to be sacrificed in a Mayan pyramid

...but escaped to England and rode the Tower of Terror

...then teleported to India

...before shouting like a madman in Hollywood

Overall, I truly enjoyed the beauty (and rides) of Tokyo DisneySea. I would highly recommend it to those who are planning to visit Tokyo, I mean Chiba Prefecture.

Time to go home!

Hiking Mt. Gulugod Baboy

Our adventure today takes us to a mountain south of Metro Manila. Mt. Gulugod Baboy  (other variations Mt. Gulugod-Baboy ) is located in Anilao, Mabini in the province of Batangas. Gulugod-baboy is a Filipino phrase that means "pig's spine." The mountain got its name from the contours of the peaks which resemble a pig's back as seen from Janao Bay. Mt. Gulugod Baboy Mt. Akashi Kaikyo Bridge - Hyogo

Connecting the island of Awaji and Kobe City which are both in Hyogo Prefecture, Akashi Kaikyo Bridge  ( 明石海峡大橋 )  is the longest bridge in Japan to date.  Akashi Kaikyo Bridge History Prior to the construction of the  Akashi Kaikyo Bridge , ferries carried passengers across the Akashi Strait. However, the strait is known to be a dangerous waterway that already took countless lives. The most famous of which was in 1955 when two ferries sank in the strait during a storm. This tragedy claimed 168 lives and was said to be what convinced the Japanese government to develop plans to construct a bridge. Located in Rosario in the province of Cavite, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros is famously known as the location of the historic Tejeros Convention of 1897. Tenryuji - Kyoto

Located in 68 Susukinobaba-cho, Saga-Tenryuji, Ukyo-ku, Kyoto City in Kyoto Prefecture, Tenryuji ( 天龍寺 )  is one of the 17 UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kyoto City. Tenryuji  ( 天龍寺 ) Tenryuji History Tenryuji was built under the instructions of shogun Ashikaga Takauji in 1339 in memory of Emperor Go-Daigo who had passed away that year. The temple's name tenryu  literally translates to the "dragon of the sky". The name came from a dream of Ashikaga Takauji's younger brother Tadayoshi.
