Weekend 5: December 4-5, 2021 Meeting the Rumoi ALTs Day 33: December 4, 2021 Saturday - Dinner at Curry Zion Like my previous Saturdays, half my day today was spent doing laundry and attending my MBA 303 class. Today, I was assigned to report about the Motorola Case Study .  Time to learn Japanese Since snow now covered the city and half the day was over, I decided to just stay at home and update my blog.  I also spent time studying Japanese. Curry Zion - Rumoi City I ordered... You guessed that right! Curry! That evening, I got an invite to meet and dine with Kiaya, the new ALT for Rumoi Junior High School, and her supervisor at Curry Zion . The servings were big and the taste of the food was good which is expected from an 1800 yen meal.  Walking back home After the meetup, I went back home and continued editing my blog. To end the day, I took a relaxing dip in my hot tub. It was a perfect way to wrap up my 33rd day here in Rumoi City.  Day 34: December 5, 2021 Sunday - Rumoi Block

Week 5: November 29 - December 3, 2021 5th Week as an ALT in Rumoi  Hey guys! Time flew so fast, I can't believe it's already my 1st month here in Rumoi City.  Finally, I received my visit school schedule for December until March. Just to share, my first school visit is already this Friday. Day 28: November 29, 2021 Monday - Rumoi When I arrived at Rumoi High School I saw one of my friends, Soeda Sensei being attended to by paramedics. He slipped on thin ice earlier and was rushed to the hospital. What a way to start the week. My appointment is renewed for another year. Thank you, Lord! I received 2 important files today. First is my re-appointment paperwork. This means that they want me for another year. Second is my visit school calendar. This means that I will start visiting schools already. Miharashi Park ( 見晴公園 ), located in 2 Chome Miharashicho, Rumoi City, Hokkaido Prefecture, is one of the city's several parks. It's well-known for the D613 locomotive engine on exhibit. Rumoi River ( 留萌川 ) is the primary river system that flows through Rumoi City and is located in Rumoi Subprefecture on the western side of Hokkaido Prefecture.
