Weekend 26: April 30 - May 1, 2022 Day 180: April 30, 2022 Saturday - Strolling around Rumoi City   Before my family came here, I made it a habit to take a stroll every weekend. In a way, this kept me sane and also allowed me to enjoy the scenery and the life here in the city I now call home.  Time to remove the weeds Thankfully, my wife and daughter share the same passion. Hence, on their first weekend here in Rumoi City, We went out to stroll. However, before that, I tended to my garden first by removing the weed that invaded it so that in the future I could plant something there to improve it.  Team Nicerio visits Rumoi High School Finished walking around the Rumoi High School Going back to our stroll, our first stop is Rumoi High School . Week 26: April 25 - 29, 2022 Day 175: April 25, 2022  Monday - Rumoi Rumoi High School 4/25/22 It's the start of another week, and I'm back at Rumoi High School . The weekend flew by so quickly, and now it's time to dive into a new set of experiences and challenges. As I step onto the school grounds, the familiar surroundings and the buzz of students fill the air, signaling the beginning of another bustling week. Here's my workload for today: 2nd period - ABCD Game @ 1-36 of Motoyama-sensei 3rd period - Digital Detox @ 4-46 of Matsuda-sensei 6th period - I'm the Strongest @ 2-345 of Hidaka-sensei English Club meeting Ella and Kiaya playing Farkle In the afternoon, Joshua and Kiaya went to my house for part 2 of the dinner party. This time, we had nabe. Kiaya introduced the game Farkle (which is a dice game where you need to rack up points based on the numbers you get from the dice.)  Before calling it a day, we ate the dessert brought by our ALT friends.  Day 1

Weekend 25: April 23 -24, 2022 Day 173: April 23, 2022 Saturday - Shopping in Rumoi Although most of the snow already melted, it's still super cold in the morning. My wife, daughter, and I planned to go walking early today but it suddenly rained so we decided to stay home and continue the 2022 mystery crime film, Death on the Nile while hoping that the rain stops.  Movie bonding time with the family.  Coincidentally, the weather has gotten better by the time we finished the film so we decided to pursue our plan to walk around town. Before we left our apartment, we went door to door so that I can introduce my wife and daughter to my neighbors.  Shopping at Shijubo From our place in Chidoricho, we followed Route 231 until we reached Shijubo . This is a home and lifestyle store that sells products mostly for bedrooms like pillows, sheets, blankets, etc. It was recommended by my fellow Rumoi City ALTs and true enough, they did have the products that we need.
