Japan Diaries 4: Quarantine Week 2

Quarantine Week 2: October 25 - 31, 2021 

It's the final week of my 14-day quarantine here in Japan. So far, my 7-day stay here in Keio Plaza Hotel in Shibuya City, Tokyo Prefecture was busy but fun. I have never imagined staying in a high-class hotel in Japan this long for FREE. It's really one for the books. Here's how my last week went. 

Day 8: October 25, 2021

Today is a very important day as it's my wife's birthday today. This marks the first time that we did not celebrate it together.

    It's interesting that you managed to document your food daily. To be honest with you, the food looks depressing given that it is prepared by a well-known hotel. It is much like what refugees would eat. Hahaha don't be mad, but for me it is glorified refugee food.

Hiking Mt. Gulugod Baboy

Our adventure today takes us to a mountain south of Metro Manila. Mt. Gulugod Baboy  (other variations Mt. Gulugod-Baboy ) is located in Anilao, Mabini in the province of Batangas. Gulugod-baboy is a Filipino phrase that means "pig's spine." The mountain got its name from the contours of the peaks which resemble a pig's back as seen from Janao Bay. Mt. Gulugod Baboy Mt. Located in Rosario in the province of Cavite, Casa Hacienda de Tejeros is famously known as the location of the historic Tejeros Convention of 1897. Calaca Church - Batangas

Located at the poblacion of Calaca in the province of Batangas, Calaca Church is one of the Spanish colonial era churches of the province. Quituinan Hills - Albay
