Gotta love the view

Sennan Marble Beach "Always with you"

Due to the exquisite sunset view from Sennan Marble Beach, it has been included in Japan's Top 100 Sunsets. Since its opening in 1995, the beach has become a favorite destination of couples who wanted a romantic place but does not want to go far from Sennan. Hence it is not a surprise when the beach was designated as a Lover's Sanctuary.

The tide breakers are perfectly laid out

The beach is generally clean with some algae in some parts

To promote it as such, a large heart-shaped monument with the words "Sennan Marble Beach" and "Always With You" is displayed on the beach. This "monument" has since become a popular photo spot on the beach and it also became a distinguishable image that separates Sennan Marble Beach from the other nearby beaches like Nishikinohama Beach and Rinkuminamihama Beach.

Let's go explore the beach

What's great about this place is that it's very clean despite being found near the city. Aside from that, if you enjoy watching planes take off and land then this place is also for you. Kansai International Airport is just a few kilometers away from the coast and is one of the busiest airports in Japan so you'd have a lot of airplanes to watch. However, despite the generally clean surroundings, it is prohibited to swim here. You can dip your feet in the water though. It's good to note that there are no entrance fees to pay when visiting Sennan Marble Beach

You'd surely love jogging here...

Your pet would also love it...

It's also a perfect place to watch the sunset

My family and I got to visit Sennan Marble Beach during our 19th day in Japan. We visited in the afternoon to watch the beautiful sunset from the beach. While waiting, we strolled a bit to walk Yomogi, the pet dog of our Japanese family. I could attest that the beach is really romantic in terms of its quiet atmosphere and great view. Before leaving we made sure to get a lot of photos of its famous heart monument.

Why visit Sennan Marble Beach?

Overall, Sennan Marble Beach might not be your typical beach where you'd go to take a dip but it is truly a place worth visiting if you want to just relax and listen to the sound of the waves kissing the beach.

Getting to Sennan Marble Beach:

From Kansai International Airport, head to the Kansai Airport Station and ride a bus of the Nankai-Kuko Line  (370 yen) and board down at Rinku Town Station. From there you have to walk for about 15-20 minutes to reach the beach.

Another option is to ride the Kansai Airport Limousine Bus (200 yen) to Rinku Premium Outlet and walk for about 11 minutes to reach the beach.
