Eiraku Yumenomori Park - Osaka

Located at 65-110 Daimyo Noda Kumatori-cho, Sennan in Osaka Prefecture, Eiraku Yumenomori Park (永楽ゆめの森公園) is a newly built park that has become quite popular with the locals living nearby.

Eiraku Yumenomori Park History

Also called Yongkura Yume no Mori Park, Eiraku Yumenomori Park opened in November 2015. Since that time, it has been a weekend bonding destination for locals especially those with children. The park has a total area of 5 hectares, most of which is hilly and forested. One can explore this part of the park, by following the hiking course around it. It is said that the best time to visit this part of the park is during spring when flowers are in full bloom.

Welcome to Eiraku Yumenomori Park

There is also this cleared area of Eiraku Yumenomori Park with play equipment like seesaws, obstacle courses, swings, and several slides including the giant slide. Speaking of the giant slide, it seems like it is the most popular among the play equipment in the park. It is said that 20 kids could sit side by side at the top of the 20-30 foot slide. To reach the top of the slide one can simply walk up the cemented steps but for kids looking for a challenge, they may opt to conquer the log obstacle course beside the cemented steps on their way up. Another highlight of Eiraku Yumenomori Park is its dome-like trampoline. Kids really do enjoy jumping and bouncing up and down this playground attraction. As a matter of fact, my daughter spent almost an hour doing this.

Go, Ella!

Believe it or not, it's not only kids who love visiting this place during the weekends. Adults tend to visit to relax and unwind. Others even visit with friends for a picnic or barbecue. While nature lovers follow the hiking course to admire the park's flora and fauna.  Even pet dogs look forward to weekends as this place is also a perfect place to bond with their masters.

Kids would surely love the vast play area.

My daughter and I got to visit Eiraku Yumenomori Park on the 12th day of our 2018 Japan Trip. It was my Japanese godfather who brought us to the park as he wanted Ella to have and also for us to have some more bonding time. On my end, I got nostalgic as I had my first solo adventure in the nearby Okuyama Ameyama Natural Park four years back. During that time the park was just a forested area.

Why visit Eiraku Yumenomori Park?

Eiraku Yumenomori Park is like a hidden gem near the mountainous area of Kumatori. I could safely say that it's a perfect destination for kids and kids at heart.

Getting to Eiraku Yumenomori Park:

From Kumatori Station, walk for about three minutes to Kumatori Ekimae Bus Stop. Ride bus #93 and board down at Namishogakuenmae Bus Stop. The 10-minute trip costs around 230 yen. From the station, you have to walk for about 1.7 kilometers (23 minutes) to reach Eiraku Yumenomori Park.
